Prayer Requests for April 24, 2012

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way that you should go. I will counsel you and watch over you.”  Psalm 32:8

The promise of God is to lead you, and counsel, to care for you and watch over you. Often we feel that God is not mindful of our circumstances; but He is. As we face difficult times His promise is to lead us and to intervene as we give Him place in our lives.. Take a few moments and lift these requests before the Lord. Don’t be surprised at how God moves in the lives of these people.

Healing

Mike: Obstruction in his stomach

Kanima: healing from a car accident

Shayd: having difficulty seeing

Nicholas:  ADHD is having trouble with medication management pray for God’s hand over him.

Paul: He has back pain issues, pray for God’s hand to release tension in his back mussels

Jacob: He is having trouble with his eye sight. Pray for clear vision

Debbie: Bring her back to full health after weight loss

Jeff: Battling Cancer for the third time.

 “For  I know   the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD” ……….  (open up the Word and see the rest of the verse, it’s awsome) Jeremiah 29:11 - 14. Part of going through any problem is realizing that God knows what’s happening to you. We often declare out of our own mouths “where is God as I’m …... (you name the situation). Here we find in Jeremiah that the Lord knows when, where,  and what is happening to you. Even though your eyes see a physical ailment, and your ears hear a negative report, God is giving you a golden opportunity to be a ministering agent of His Grace upon your life.  So declare the work of the Lord on your life.

Prayer Requests for April 17, 2012

Pastor has been teaching for the past few weeks on the Grace of Christ and how it works in us and we become a vessel for that grace to work through us. Pray that each of these requests will be another time in which God’s great grace comes through.

Pray for our Easter Services here at Desert Chapel. At each service we will be having people who know of the Lord, but have never made Him Lord of their life. We are asking you to pray for each of the six service of Easter that God would pour out His Spirit and that loved ones and friends would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Call out in prayer for those who live all over this valley, that they would come to Desert Chapel on Easter Sunday to worship.

Prayer Requests for February 29, 2012

A number of years ago, you and I were given a first name. That name has special meaning to you and your parents, but you were born into the family of ___________________ (you fill in the blank). As part of that family you receive the full benefits of ownership. So it is with God, you have been born into His family by the shed blood of Christ on the cross. Today take advantage of your benefits and empower the work of the Holy Spirit in your life and receive what Christ has for you.

Healing

Lana: had a growth removed and the Doctors are requiring the wound to heal without surgical closing

Jerry and Linda: their daughter has ALS disease pray for healing

Michelle: has been diagnosed with cancer pray for healing and sustaining strength during the battle

Harriet: still recovering from her stay in the hospital, pray for strength
