Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way. Emma had surgery this past week, pray for healing

Recovery

We have received a few requests this week dealing with addictions. Pray that God would renew Himself to those who suffer from various addictions and that satans hand would be released from them.

Family Relationships

Often time we find it hard to admit our relationships with our families are strained. It is Gods desire for the family unit to be united as one and when it is pulled in all directions sometimes that is quite difficult to happen. Pray for the families of Desert Chapel.

June 19, 2012 Prayer Requests

Lord, today we come before you, humbly bowing, not as an unclean beggar looking for crumbs that have fallen from your table, but we are your children, washed white as snow, by your blood sacrificed for my sins. And as we bow our voices cry out Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty. Our tears wash your feet, because our hearts are heavy with the needs of loved ones and we realize it is you who changes lives of those we love, it is you who speaks healing, it is you who reaches down and makes eyes see, it is you who determines surgeries are unneeded because you intervened. And Father as we move from your feet, to complete our day’s task we know you love us and have heard our cry for help.

Prayer Requests for June 12, 2012

Pastor asks on Sunday how many of us would like a miracle. Hands from all over the sanctuary were raised, but with each miracle there is an admittance of a problem he went on to say. Problems come in all shapes and sizes, but our God comes in one size and it’s big. He is big enough for each and every need we bring to Him. So don’t be frightened or moved to negativity. Our God can do exceeding above and beyond anything we could ask or think. So agree with me as we lift up our brothers and sister to the Lord for completeness in their needs.

Prayer Requests for May 30, 2012

Today as you lift our church prayer request before the Lord pray the Armor of God over you and your family.  Each and every day satan comes to kill, steal, and to destroy God’s people. Would it not be just like him to attach a fear, a disease, and a burden that someone else is carrying on to you our prayer warriors? We are God’s people called to pray, called to hold up the arms of those who are weak, so the battle can be won.
