Focus 40 - Day 33

Revelation 2:17
The Hidden Manna
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Living today in Christ, our “Hidden Manna” is to live in recognition that He alone is our “secret provision” for all we need. In the Old Testament account, remember how the miracle supply of manna would come in unexpected ways. The word “manna” literally means “what is it”. Furthermore manna always came at time when no one could do anything about it. During the time the Israelites slept.
Perhaps when God says, “I’ll provide for you”, He expects us to rest and let Him take care of the providing. We shouldn’t be too surprised if His provisions come during life’s ‘nighttime” experiences- those times when things seem to be at their darkest.” God is already at work preparing tomorrow’s provision, today.
Consider also God’s provision for Elijah (1Kings 17). Faced with famine on every side, while in exile out of fear for his life, Elijah was visited twice daily by ravens, God’s appointed “Manna Messengers” who fed the prophet bread and meat. When the Lord provides “hidden manna”  there is no place too difficult or too lonely for Him to work, neither is there any means too unlikely  for him to use. He will meet our needs.

                Pray for:
                                Unexpected Income
                                Unexpected Provisions
                                Unexpected Blessing
                                Unexpected Favor
